By booking a charter or accessing our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.
2. Service Overview
GeneralInfoAlley offers an array of yacht charter services, which include:
- Daily yacht rentals
- Sunset cruises
- Corporate retreats
- Private events
- Multi-day charters
Availability of all services is subject to change and influenced by weather conditions. The right to alter or cancel services is retained at our discretion.
3. Booking and Reservations
3.1 Booking Process
To secure a charter, the following requirements must be fulfilled:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Submission of comprehensive and accurate details
- Payment of the stipulated deposit as noted in your booking confirmation
- Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions
3.2 Confirmation
Your reservation is only deemed confirmed with the completion of your payment and our issuance of a confirmation. Service to any individual may be declined at our discretion.
3.3 Availability
Charter bookings rely upon vessel availability and favorable weather conditions. We will endeavor to meet your preferred scheduling.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing
All quoted prices are in € and are inclusive of all taxes unless specified otherwise. Prices are subject to adjustments without prior notice.
4.2 Payment Schedule
- Initial Deposit: 50% of the overall charter fee, due at the time of booking
- Remaining Balance: To be settled 48 hours before the charter sets sail
- Additional expenditures (where applicable): Payable upon the charter's conclusion
4.3 Payment Methods
We accept various forms of payment including major credit cards, wire transfers, and certified cheques. Our processing systems ensure secure and encrypted transactions.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Customer Cancellations
- If cancelled more than 72 hours before departure: Full refund minus transaction fees
- If cancelled between 24 to 72 hours before departure: 50% refund
- If cancelled less than 24 hours before departure: No refund is provided
5.2 Adverse Weather Cancellations
In the instance of cancellations necessitated by unsafe weather, as determined by our captain, options provided will be:
- Rebooking on an alternative available date without extra charge
- A comprehensive refund when rescheduling is unfeasible
5.3 Mechanical Issues
In the circumstance where your designated yacht experiences mechanical issues, attempts will be made to provide an appropriate substitute. If this is not possible, a complete refund will be issued.
6. Safety and Conduct
6.1 Safety Requirements
All guests must:
- Adhere to directions given by the crew
- Utilize supplied safety gear as required
- Inform of any health conditions that may impact their security
- Remain within authorized areas on the vessel
6.2 Prohibited Items
Aboard the vessel, the following are not permissible:
- Glassware
- Illegal drugs
- Guns or other weapons
- Pets (excluding those with previous approval)
6.3 Behavior
Guests are expected to behave respectfully. A charter may be terminated prematurely without refund if guest conduct endangers safety or interferes with the enjoyment of others.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Our Responsibility
Our liability to you is confined to the amount you've paid for your charter. We are not accountable for:
- Injuries sustained due to passenger carelessness
- Theft or destruction of personal belongings
- Indirect, consequential, or exceptional damages
- Delays resulting from weather or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our purview
7.2 Insurance Policies
We maintain a comprehensive insurance policy that covers our fleet and operations. Clients are responsible for their own travel and personal insurance.
7.3 Risk Acceptance
By using our charter services, you accept that engaging in activities on the sea comes with inherent dangers and you assume responsibility for your safety and welfare.
8. Modifications and Itinerary Adjustments
We retain the right to adjust itineraries, routes, or timetables subject to meteorological conditions, safety requirements, or operational necessities. Should such changes occur, we will strive to offer comparable alternatives.
9. Force Majeure
Occurrences beyond our control such as severe weather, natural disasters, government statutes, port suspensions, or mechanical failures exonerate us from liability related to delays, cancellations, or alterations.
10. Privacy and Data Handling
The management of your personal data is aligned with our Privacy Policy. You consent to the assembly and utilization of your data as delineated in the Privacy Policy by availing of our services.
11. Intellectual Property
All materials on our website, such as text, visuals, logos, and images, are protected by copyright and trademarks. Unauthorized replication, distribution, or creation of derivative works is prohibited without explicit consent.
12. Governing Legislation
